The evening passed in a tasty whirlwind of cheesy, sizzling bliss at Denver Burger Battle 2018. More than 20 of Denver’s burger experts put their best patties on the grill, stacked with only the most premium toppings, vying for the title of best burger. From Cherry Cricket’s massive Nashville Hot Burger—spotlighting crispy fried chicken skin—to 5280 Burger Bar‘s “Perfect Burger,” the competition was close, but there could only be two winners. Stanley Beer Hall garnered the judges’ favor with a classic, perfectly done double-patty cheeseburger, while Hearth & Dram took home the People’s Choice award with a next-level burger that utilized thick-cut house bacon, sharp cheddar, and an umami aïoli on an everything bun. Whether you missed the fun or, like us, just wish to reminisce fondly on the mouthwatering festivities, here is a look back at some of the bites in all of their juicy glory.
